ONE-PAGE RESUME (updated 4/4/26)![]()
My name is Tyler Ramsawak. I'm an Electrical Engineering sophomore student
at the University of Florida. I am passionate about low-level electronic design with a focus on analog systems and how they fit into larger hardware solutions.
Please see the Projects tab for my protfolio.
I enjoy playing my electric guitar, and want to start a backyard band in the GV scene come the Fall semester. I love 90s/post/and nu grunge, rockabilly, emo, and shoegaze, and would like my band to take inspiration from artists like Local H, Candlebox, Title Fight, Marcy Playground, Pavement, Basement, REM, Pearl Jam, Nada Surf... and so on.
I collect reel to reel machines, mixers, rare speakers, and scientific/calibration equipment. My favorite decks that I own are my TEAC A-3340S and TEAC X-10R. My favorite speakers are my pair of ESS AMT-1Ds. Naturally, I've become aquainted with calibration and repair of tape decks, and so if you're in the Gainesville or Orlando area and need a techncian, email me!
I also like to design my own electronics and enclosures in KiCAD and SolidWorks. I make many things, from simple class A/AB amps and hydroponic state machines, to complex 4G VoLTE telephones! Currently, I am designing a replacement modem for the Motorola MicroTAC 9800X. Most recently, I designed a structured light sensor (SLS) based off the XBOX 360 Kinect sensor. It's commonly used in ghost hunting shows like Ghost Adventures to show spirit skeletons. Although I don't believe in the paranormal, I still think it's fun play with and to scare my friends.
