I enjoy playing my custom 4-pickup stratocaster, and I'd like to start a band in the GV scene come this Fall. I love 90s/post/nu grunge, rockabilly, emo, and shoegaze, and would like my band to take inspiration from artists like Local H, Candlebox, Title Fight, Marcy Playground, Pavement, Basement, REM, Pearl Jam, Nada Surf... etc.

I love to design my own electronics and enclosures in KiCAD/Altium and SolidWorks. I make all sorts of things from fully analog TRIAC phase-angle controllers out of junk, to multi-page LTE Cat 1 bis telephones! The former was designed to make a breathing green mooring lamp (like Daisy's from The Great Gatsby), and the latter was designed to retrofit my 1G Motorola MicroTAC 9800X with VoLTE. This June, I designed a structured light sensor (SLS) based off the XBOX 360 Kinect. It's commonly used in ghost hunting shows like Ghost Adventures to render spirits skeletons. Although I don't believe in the paranormal, it's still lots of fun to play with and to scare my friends.

In addition to making things, I collect reel-to-reel tape decks, speakers, electronic scientific/calibration equipment, and rare lightbulbs. My favorite tape decks are the TEAC X-10R and A3340S, my favorite speakers are the infamous ESS AMT-1Ds, and my favorite bulb is the Philips 180W LPS lamp, which outputs 35,000lm of beautiful monochromatic 589nm yellow (~1,700K with a CRI of 0).
